Visa-free access to the Republic of Serbia for HKSAR passport holders
The Immigration Department announced today (November 3) that the Republic of Serbia has confirmed to grant visa-free access to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) passport holders for a stay of up to 14 days. The arrangement comes into effect immediately.
As a parallel development, with effect from 14 November 2011, holders of biometric passports of the Republic of Serbia (except holders of Serbian passports issued by the Coordination Directorate in Belgrade) may visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay of up to 14 days.
A Hong Kong Government spokesman said, “The arrangement means greater travel convenience for HKSAR passport holders and also helps promote trade, business and tourism links between Hong Kong and the Republic of Serbia.”
