Visa-free access to the Republic of Montenegro for HKSAR passport holders

The Immigration Department announced today (April 19) that the Government of the Republic of Montenegro has confirmed to grant visa-free access to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) passport holders visiting the country for a stay of up to 90 days. Nationals of the Republic of Montenegro may also visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay of up to 14 days. The arrangement will come into effect on April 20, 2012.
An Immigration Department spokesman said, “The visa-free arrangement means greater travel convenience for HKSAR passport holders and helps promote trade, business and tourism links between Hong Kong and the Republic of Montenegro.”
Including the Republic of Montenegro, 144 countries / territories have granted visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to HKSAR passport holders.
